Pajama Christmas is our new holiday tradition! Last year while at Hillcrest in December Josh and I saw a poster for this event, and it looked like a ton of fun, but it was already sold out. We decided that we would reserve spots early this year so the whole family could go.
Pajama Christmas is a night filled with unlimited train rides on the 1/4 scale steam train, live music, cookies and hot chocolate. The unexpected thing this year was the rain, it rained all day and night and the whole day we were waiting to hear if they were going to cancel or not. At 4:30 that afternoon my mom got an email from Hillcrest saying that they were not going to cancel and they would run the train in the rain. All of us were excited and didn't mind the wet weather. It made for an interesting evening but we had so much fun getting wet and riding the train all night. We got there a little early and got dinner from the corn dog truck, and let me say that they made the most AMAZING corn dogs. They are huge and delicious! Can't wait to ride the train again and get corn dogs!
